Riana van Staden
I love to paint and work in acrylics, pen, ink, oil pens and watercolor to create fantasy portraits as well as my favorite, abstract art, using symbols and patterns. In all my work you will find lots of fine details with symbols in it.
People sometimes ask me what was my inspiration? I really work intuitively, creating every dot or brushstroke from my soul, knowing that it has meaning and purpose.
I spend endless hours working on each piece to add the very last mark or symbol to create a piece with a lot of detail.
For me it is important to see the art piece but also to look deeper and to see the detail and meaning of everything in it. There are more than the eye sees in all my work.
I also started in 2019 to teach art online, focusing on easy art projects in alcohol inks.
This is something very close to my heart to help people explore their own creativity.
With exhibitions worldwide my art are in homes in the USA, Europe, Australia, etc. I am so thankful for the support because it gives me the opportunity to be creative and give something of myself out to the world.
I hope that you will enjoy my work as much as I enjoy creating them!
